1. Itinerary Plan
At The Wild Treks, we carefully plan each trek to make sure that our clients have a fun and safe time. Nature, on the other hand, can be unexpected, and changes need to happen sometimes. We reserve the right to change the plans if bad weather, nature disasters, or other unplanned events happen. These changes are meant to make you safer and improve your experience as a whole. We will let you know as soon as possible if big changes need to be made. We will do our best to stick to the planned route, but there may be small changes, like changing the daily routine or overnight stops. Do not worry—any changes will not affect the quality of the walk. Getting used to nature’s rhythms is part of the trip, so we encourage you to be flexible and patient.
2. Cancellation Policy and Refund
We know that things come up, and sometimes you may have to stop your trip. This is our cancelling policy. It should be reasonable and pay for your travel expenses. You need to inform us 30 days prior your trip, we will payback your money afterdecuting the processing charge. You may get 50% of your cash back if you cancel your trip 15–30 days before leaving. Plans must be made long in advance, hence adjustments done less than 14 days before the journey are not refundable. Should for any reason we have to halt the journey, you will either be allowed to change your reservation to another date or receive your money refunded in whole. Please be advised that reimbursements will be issued fourteen days after your request for removal.
3. Terms of Payment
To hold your seat when you reserve a trip with The Wild Treks, you must pay a 50% deposit on the whole trip fee. The final payment has to be paid minimum 14 days before the trip starts. You may pay with credit card, bank transfer, or another method agreed upon. Should the last payment not be received by the due date, we might have to cancel your reservation and retain the deposit. Please ensure that all of your payments are completed on time to help your plans to stay intact. Tell us straight away if you have any payment difficulties; we will do our utmost to assist.
4. Insurance Requirements
Before you go with The Wild Treks, you need travel insurance covering walking activities for your personal safety and peace of mind. Your insurance should cover things like medical events, forced evacuation, travel cancellation, loss or theft of personal items. We highly suggest you to find out from your insurance provider if your coverage covers all of your vacation, including high-altitude hiking should it apply. Thank you; please bring a copy of your insurance along with you on the stroll. Although we follow all the required procedures to ensure your trip is enjoyable and safe, obtaining the correct insurance is still vital should anything go wrong?
5. Documents to Carry
The following are some essential items that you should carry with you on a trek with The Wild Treks. Now to proceed further carry few docs- Passport, Driving license, insurance and other major ID cards with foreign currency. If you want to go abroad, your valiidty of the passport should be 6 months.
Additionally advised ahead of time will be if any particular journeys need for certain permits or passes. We advise you to pack duplicates of crucial documentation and keep them apart from the originals. This is useful should you find your belongings missing or stolen. The correct documentation guarantees that your walking tour runs without any issues or complications.
6. Complaints
We put a great deal to ensure that every one of our walks enjoys themselves. Conversely, if you come into any issues or have questions throughout your walk, let your trek leader know straight away. Our staff is trained to quickly deal with and fix problems, so your experience stays positive. If the problem can’t be fixed right away, please write down your report and send it to our customer service team within 14 days of the end of the trek. We read all of your comments carefully and will fully look into any issues. Our goal is to keep getting better and give our customers the best service possible.
7. Medical Certificates
To make sure everyone’s safety on our walks, we need people to show us a medical report saying they are healthy enough to go on the trip. The medical practitioner providing you this paperwork should be qualified and indicate that you are healthy enough to finish the trail. If you already have a medical condition, kindly let us know when you plan your trip and bring any medications you may need. If someone cannot provide a legitimate medical certificate or if the certificate or other health-related material makes them seem unfit for the Wild Treks, they might be refused to allow them participate.
8. Declarations Form
You will have to sign a statement form before you go on your trek with The Wild Treks. By signing this form, you confirm that you know about the risks of walking and are still willing to go. It also shows that you have read and understood our terms and conditions, which include how to stop, pay, and show proof of insurance. You agree to follow your trek leader’s directions and be kind to the nature and people you meet on the trip by signing the statement. We care a lot about safety and responsible hiking, and this form is a big part of that.
9. Trek Dates Change Policy
Plans change, hence you may have to alter the dates of your travel. As long as the dates are open, the Wild Treks allows you to alter the date of your trip. Should you want to alter the dates of your trip, we must know at least thirty days before the beginning date. We will try to fit your revised dates at no additional expense. Should your date be changed fewer than thirty days before the trip, you could be required to pay a changing charge to offset the additional expenses. Changes depend on space, hence we cannot guarantee the same timetable or travel advice for the new timings.
10. Data Protection
Here at The Wild Treks, we respect your privacy. We only ask for the personal details required to handle your reservation and ensure your vacation is enjoyable and safe. This data can contain your name, phone number, medical records, details about your travel insurance, etc. Please know that we will only use this information to plan and carry out your trip. Except when the law says we have to or when it’s necessary for the trek, we don’t give your personal information to anyone else. Keep in mind that your information is kept safely, and you can ask to see or delete it at any point.
