  • You should have completed a Basic Mountaineering Course from a recognized institute. Plus, you’ve got 2-3 high-altitude Himalayan treks (up to 14,000 feet) under your belt.

  Communication Skills: 

  • You’re fluent in  English and Hindi, and can communicate effectively.

  First Aid Knowledge:

  •  Basic First Aid training is a must, because safety is our top priority.

Become an Assistant Trek Leader at The Wild Treks

  • Are you an experienced trekker with a passion for leading others through the mountains? If you’re at least 22 years old and meet the following criteria, we want you to join our team as an Assistant Trek Leader! 

  What We’re Looking For:

  Mountaineering Experience: 

  • You’ve completed a Basic Mountaineering Course from a recognized institute (Nim) and have successfully completed 2 high-altitude Himalayan treks (up to 14,000 feet).

  Communication Skills: 

  • You’re speak in English and Hindi and can guide and inspire others with clear and effective communication.

  First Aid Knowledge: 

Basic First Aid training is essential, as the safety of our trekkers is paramount.

When hiring a trek coordinator, consider the following key skills and qualifications:

  • Organisational Skills: Ability to plan, coordinate, and manage trekking routes, logistics, and schedules efficiently. Ensures all aspects of the trek, from permits to accommodations, are handled smoothly.
  • Safety and Risk Management: Expertise in assessing and managing potential risks, ensuring safety protocols are followed, and providing first aid or emergency response when needed.
  • Local Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the trekking region, including terrain, weather conditions, local customs, and regulations, to enhance the trek experience and ensure compliance.
  • Communication Skills: Strong ability to communicate effectively with trekkers, guides, and local partners, providing clear instructions and addressing any issues that arise.

Customer Service: Excellent skills in handling inquiries, providing support, and ensuring a positive experience for trekkers, including managing any complaints or concerns professionally.
